Important Notes

1. In an upcoming release, Hyper Backup will stop supporting for Amazon S3 v2 signature to improve system security. We recommend upgrading to v4 signature to ensure your backups continue to work properly. Refer to our FAQ for more information.

Important Notes

1. Due to the database format upgrade, the tasks of Hyper Backup 3.0.0 or above will not be available for earlier versions of Hyper Backup to relink.
2. Creating new backup tasks for Amazon Cloud Drive is no longer supported as Amazon Cloud Drive ended the service in November 2020.
3. Synology C2 Backup has been renamed Synology C2 Storage.

Compatibility and Installation

1. Updated to be compatible with DSM 7.0.
2. This version is compatible with Hyper Backup Vault 2.2.0, and existing backup tasks will not be affected after the update.

7. Supports encrypting backup data using the ECC Curve25519 encryption technology. (Only applicable to backup tasks created after updating to Hyper Backup 3.0.0.)
8. Includes more details in successful backup notification emails, such as source data size and increased data size.
